All machines in our domain network with windows 11 Pro after install update 24H2 havent access to shared resources of pc-s with win 11 . Access to shared folders on PCs with Win 8 and Win 10 are ok. When try to open shares on some pc with Win 11 , I get message for wrong credentials.
Note: my user is Domain admin and have access to all shared resources but the message is for wrong username or password (I'm sure of my credentials). Some users not updated computers yet , and haven't problems.maria-cred

    Hello,

You are hitting an authentication change that ships with Windows 11 24H2. When you open a share on another Windows 11 PC, the client is falling back to NTLM instead of Kerberos and the target refuses it, so the dialog says the credentials are incorrect. The fix is to force Kerberos by connecting with the computer's FQDN so Windows can use the CIFS SPN.

On an affected PC, open Command Prompt as admin and do this test:

    klist purge
    net use * /delete /y
    net use \\MARIAG-12070.farkol.local\IPC$ /user:FARKOL\YourUser

Enter the same password when asked.

If that completes successfully, open the share with the FQDN too, for example \\MARIAG-12070.farkol.local\ShareName. Map drives using the FQDN going forward, not the IP or a bare short name. If DNS is correct and clocks are in sync, this will use Kerberos and the prompt will disappear.

If the command above does not succeed, tell me the exact error text from net use and whether you are connecting by IP or by name. I will give you the next step.
