Hi @Mary O'Connor
Thank you for posting your question in the Microsoft Q&A forum.
May I ask did it disappear when you close the app or it just disappeared after a while?
Did you perform this on your calendar or on another shared calendar?
I tested on my own and I will see the same behavior when I open another shared calendar.
After I close Outlook, the rules will disappear. And if I close and open again, the rules are back.
There must be something with the shared calendar work.
However, if I create a new view first and then use condition formatting, the rules won't go away even with shared calendar.
Did you create a custom view here? If not, please go choose Manage Views > New > Choose Day/Week/Month then apply your rules in Conditional Formatting.
Please try and let me know if this works for you.
If not, please answer my questions above so I can reproduce your case and help you better.
I look forward for your reply.
