Hi everyone!

as the title suggests, i'm having a problem with the cmd running high in the background every time I boot up, this time with my PC. I've found some posts on reddit about a crypto miner file hiding in the program data but to no avail, I seem can't find the culprit. Then I came across a post in using FRST software hence I used the program and linked below my logs. As you can tell, I would like to ask someone's help in creating a fixlist as I am not an expert in reading this kind of logs.

Hoping someone could reach this post, Thank you so much.

    1

Open Task Manager, and select the Processes tab.

Right click the CPU column header and enable the Command Line column.

Please provide a screenshot of that window showing the Cmd.exe process and the associated text in the Command Line column.

    2

Click the link below to download a small free utility that does not require installation.

This should sort things for you.

    • Download Fixlist.txt and save it in the folder where FRST64.exe is located.
    • Close any apps with unsaved work.
    • Run FRST64.exe and click "Fix".
    • The computer will reboot to complete the process.

Please upload Fixlog.txt so I can check if any further action is needed.
