I got sent a gift on Sunday at 7pm, and I was wondering why it is taking so long to arrive? Respond ASAP.

    Hi,

Thanks for reaching out! I understand how frustrating it can be waiting for a digital gift to arrive, especially when you’re expecting an Xbox game code. While I don’t have access to internal systems to track individual emails, I’ve seen similar cases where gift codes take longer than expected due to processing delays, especially on weekends. Microsoft sometimes holds these for extra verification, which can push delivery beyond the usual few hours.

It’s also worth checking your junk or spam folders in Outlook, just in case the message was filtered. And if your Microsoft account email is different from the one your friend used to send the gift, that could explain the delay or mis delivery.

If it’s been more than 24 hours, I’d recommend asking the sender to double-check their order history to confirm the gift was sent. You can also reach out to Microsoft Support here: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/contactus with the order details to get direct help.

Here’s a helpful article that covers a similar situation: Microsoft Answers – https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/answers/questions/5543221/i-purchased-a-gift-for-a-friend-they-have-not-rece

    Hope this helps,

    Warm regards,

    Edward
