OneDrive will not launch

I was having trouble getting OneDrive to launch at startup so I uninstalled and redownloaded the app. Now it won't launch at all. I have tried repairing it and resetting it, but it won't launch. It processes for a long time to say "Loading your OneDrive" and then "Oops, something went wrong" and gives me the option to relaunch or sign out. Neither relaunching it or signing out or signing back in again fixes the problem.

    Hi Jamie,

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community. I understand it is frustrating when OneDrive won't start, especially after you've already tried reinstalling, repairing, and resetting it. I'm here to help.

To fix this, I'd suggests clearing saved credentials in the Credential Manager (search for it in the Start menu). Delete anything there that has to do with OneDrive or Microsoft accounts and then do a full reset by pressing Windows + R, typing onedrive.exe /reset, and pressing Enter. If OneDrive doesn’t restart on its own, start it from the Start menu. Also, ensure that your system has the newest Windows update and that webview2 is installed.

To reset OneDrive, check out this link: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/reset-onedrive-34701e00-bf7b-42db-b960-84905399050c

Let me know how it goes. If you found this helpful, marking it as helpful might make it easier for others to find the solution. Thanks!

    Regards,
    Carlo
