Ready to get an iphone and abandon android. I got a new Google Pixel 10 Pro XL. Nobody can get Teams to work on it. Yes, software is up to date yes I have tried restarting and uninstalling / reinstalling. I have deleted Teams from other devices because somewhere it said too many logins. Nothing works. My husband is IT tech support he could not fix it and gave up. Its been over a week now. The whole point of getting the same phone and using the same software was to make this easy.

    Hi @Colleen Scott,

    Thanks for the detailed response.

Based on the details you provided, the error code 5objn appears to be caused on this specific device, especially after device migrations, app updates, or when cached credentials conflict with the authentication flow.

The most likely solution is to clear the credentials cache that’s causing the conflict. I'd recommend you clear your device cache credentials first to ensure proper sign-in:

    1. Remove old accounts from device settings
    • Go to Settings → Accounts → Manage accounts.
    • Delete any duplicate or old Microsoft/Work accounts.
    1. Clear Teams app cache and data
    • Settings → Apps → Teams → Storage → Clear Cache & Clear Data.
    1. Reinstall Teams
    • Uninstall Teams → Reboot → Turn off Auto Sync Data → Reinstall from Play Store/App Store.
    • You can find Auto Sync Data at the bottom of the Manage accounts page.

    1. Sign in using the full UPN format
    • For work accounts, login with your @onmicrosoft.com account or your organization’s domain.
    • This forces a fresh authentication session.

I hope this information is helpful. Please follow these steps and let me know if it works for you. If not, we can work together to resolve this.

Thank you for your patience and your understanding. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out.

I'm looking forward to your reply.

I have the same issue. I tried all of these troubleshooting techniques and more. Nothing worked. The outlook app works fine on my pixel 10, but teams refuses to let me sign in.
