I bought a new laptop, cannot get onedrive to sync my personal or work account

Question

I bought a new laptop - same brand just newer. I cannot get to log in to onedrive from my desktop. I can login online and see files - it just wont log in on my laptop

I have TrendMicro and have tried with windows defender on and off. no success,

when I click on the grey cloud I submit the login email and p/w and the blue circle of death with "logging you in" on screen. I have tried 20 different times, no good. internet speed etc not an issue,

send me mad now.

I logged out of onedrive on my old laptop for my work and have been unable to log back in on that computer too

(I can still access the onedrive via my phone.)

Thanks for reaching out and sharing the details. It seems that you're having problems with your OneDrive access on both of your laptop and desktop.

What error do you get when you try to login?

When I go to the grey cloud, tonthe settings gear then add account, I type in my address then a black dialogue box come up with blue text saying "loading" and the spinning blue dots around the word
