I have an expired Developer account, which was expired back in 2023. I have been trying to delete the same account so I could create another one. I have been trying for about 2 years. I click delete and it says wait 60 days. When i check on it 60 days later, the license would still be there.

    Hi @Stan Thomas

Thank you for reaching out to the Microsoft Q&A Forum.

We understand it can be frustrating when a developer account has already expired but still can’t be deleted after several attempts.

Could you please confirm if this is a Microsoft 365 Developer Program account, or another type of developer account?

If your issue is with the Microsoft 365 Developer Program, we suggest reaching out to Microsoft Developer Support for further assistance through the following link: Services Hub. Please note that this portal (Services Hub) is a paid ticket and access is subject to certain conditions, which you can review here: Services Hub sign in FAQs | Microsoft Learn.

Please note that, as forum moderators, we don’t have access to Microsoft’s internal systems required to manually remove developer accounts, so we’re unable to make these changes directly.

If you need to create a new developer account right away, you might consider signing up with a different account instead.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. Please feel free to correct me if I’ve misunderstood your situation.
