Not able to create Mysql Flexible server in Azure in Central India Region ?

Hi, I am not able to create Mysql Flexible server in Central India Region ? I also deleted a couple of resources in this region to ensure that it is not a quota limit. Is the central India region restricted ?

While the Central India region does support Azure Database for MySQL – Flexible Server, temporary restrictions or capacity issues are currently preventing new server creation.
At this time, subscriptions cannot provision resources in this region. Please select a different region.

2025-11-04T07:03:26.9166667+00:00 Thanks for the update. Is there any timelines or expected restoration of provisioning capabilitiers to central india region ? I have services in this region and want to provision some staging slots in same region since a staging deployment slot cannot be created in a separate region. it should colocate in same region. so does this mean I have to relocate my complete deployment ?

Thank you for your patience and for sharing the context around your deployment scenario. I completely understand how important it is for you to provision staging slots within the same region, and I realize the current limitation in the Central India region is impacting your workflow.
At this time, there’s no confirmed ETA for restoration of provisioning capabilities in Central India, but our engineering team is actively working on resolving the issue and restoring full functionality as soon as possible.
Since deployment slots must be colocated in the same region, if staging slots cannot be created there right now, it unfortunately means you would need to consider relocating your entire deployment to a region where this functionality is fully supported. This ensures that your staging and production environments are in the same region, meeting best practices and technical requirements.
