Possible to update older win11 from a win11 that has all the updates.

Question

I have several win11 system that are not 25h2. I download the ISO, mounted it, browsed to "setup.exe" and it is downloading all types of updates before doing the installed.

I have a win11 that is 25h2. Can I somehow create an update from my win11 25h2 and use that to update the remaining PCs? Is there a site showing how to do this?

[edit] The AI reply basically told me to do what I had just done. Since my win11 25h2 is up to date, there should be no reason to download updates since they are in the PC creating the ISO.

If you are using the latest Windows 11 ISO, then really the only updates that should need to be installed after that are the two October updates and possibly a security update for Windows Defender.

There is no method available to copy those updates out of the PC already fully updated, then best option when using the ISO to upgrade the systems is at the start of the process, choose the option not to install other updates.

Then when that completes, you can if you wish, download the offline installers for the October updates (KB5066835 and KB5070773) directly from the Microsoft Catalog (https://www.catalog.update.microsoft.com/Home.aspx), but only install those on a system that has been updated to 25H2.
