Question

I have power point slides done and added audio background music from my pc

nos I want delete audio and keep the slides

I had tried to delete by opening slide show and then record and delete all slides but it does not delete audio also I tried to into animation and also from there I went in tecord and deleted audio but no luck , then I tried to open slide master to see if I can find audio but nothing there

so how to remove audio from the slide with transition created please help

I understand you’re trying to remove background audio from your PowerPoint slides while keeping the slides and transitions intact.

Here are steps to remove audio in PowerPoint:

1. Open your presentation in PowerPoint.
2. Go to the Insert tab → click Audio → select Audio on My PC (this shows existing audio objects).
3. In Normal view, check each slide for the audio icon (usually a small speaker symbol).
4. Select the audio icon on the slide and press Delete.
5. If the audio was added as background across all slides, go to Playback tab → under Audio Options, uncheck Play Across Slides, then delete the audio icon.
6. If you cannot find the icon, switch to Slide Sorter view and look for any hidden audio objects.
7. Save the presentation after removing the audio.
