    Dear deepak poswal,

Thank you for reaching out to the Microsoft Q&A Forum.

I understand that the Weather widget icon has completely disappeared from your taskbar, and the option to enable it is also missing from your Taskbar settings.

You could try following these steps below to solve this issue:

    1. Repair the Windows Web Experience Pack:
      • Go to Settings > Apps > Installed apps.
      • In the search bar at the top of the list, type: Windows Web Experience Pack
      • You should see the app appear. Click the three dots (···) on the right side of it and select "Advanced options".
      • In this new menu, scroll down to the "Reset" section.
      • First, click the "Repair" button.
      • If not fix, go back to the same menu and click the "Reset" button.
      • Restart your computer again.
    2. Check the Registry:
      • Go to Start, type regedit and select "Registry Editor" (Run as administrator).
      • Follow this path: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Dsh
      • In the right-hand panel, look for a value named AllowWidgets.
      • If this value exists and its "Data" is set to 0, this is the cause of your problem.
      • To fix it, double-click on AllowWidgets and change its "Value data" from 0 to 1.
      • If the AllowWidgets value does not exist, this is not the cause of the issue.
      • Restart your computer after making the change.
    3. Reinstall the Windows Web Experience Pack:
      • Right-click the Start and select Windows Terminal (Admin).
      • Run this command: winget uninstall "Windows Web Experience Pack"
      • After the command finishes, restart your computer.
      • When your computer is back on, open the Microsoft Store app.
      • Search for "Windows Web Experience Pack" and install it again. (Alternatively, you can open the Windows Terminal (Admin) again and type winget install "Windows Web Experience Pack").
      • Restart your PC one more time.

Please understand that our initial reply may not always immediately resolve the issue. However, with your help and more detailed information, we can work together to find a solution. Thank you for your cooperation.
