Hi,
Thanks for reaching out. I can see how urgent this is for you, and I completely understand the frustration of trying to get help with a password-protected document and not being able to speak to a live person. Let’s try to sort this out together.
To get started, could you let me know what kind of file you’re dealing with? Is it a Word, Excel, or PowerPoint file that asks for a password when you try to open it? Or is it a locked PDF? It’s also possible that it’s stored in OneDrive or SharePoint and you’re having trouble accessing it due to account or permission issues.
Also, do you happen to know the password but it’s just not working? Or is the password completely forgotten?
Just a heads-up: Microsoft isn’t able to recover or bypass passwords for encrypted Office files unless the password is known. If this is a work document, the person who created or shared it might be able to help. If it’s a personal file, there are some safe third-party tools that can help recover access.
If you’d prefer to speak with someone directly, you can try visiting this page: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/topic/customer-service-phone-numbers-c0389ade-5640-e588-8b0e-28de8afeb3f2 Just select your region and try calling during business hours.
I really hope this helps , let me know what kind of file it is and what you've tried so far, and I’ll do my best to guide you through it.
Warm regards,
Edward
