and 2, i bout a game. i have a email receipt, and the card statement, and i played the game a few months ago, lately I've had problems with my account, but i resolved them. but now when i go to my game library it tells me i don't own the game. why is that? Someone please help.

For your first issue with signing into your Microsoft account, it could be related to several factors. If you are receiving error codes after entering your password, it may indicate a problem with your account or that the credentials you are using do not match the account type (personal vs. work/school). Ensure that you are using the correct account type for the service you are trying to access. If you continue to face issues, consider checking if your account has any restrictions or if you need to verify your identity.

For your second issue regarding the game not appearing in your library, there are a few things to check:

    1. Account Issues: If you've had problems with your account recently, ensure that everything is resolved and that your account is in good standing.
    2. Sandbox Issues: If you are using a development sandbox, ensure that you are in the correct sandbox where the game was published. If you switched sandboxes, you might not see the game in your library. Make sure the game is published to the sandbox you are currently in.
    3. Availability Settings: Check the availability settings in Partner Center to ensure that the game is set to be available in your library.
    4. Game Ownership: Sometimes, if there are issues with the purchase or if the game was removed from your account for any reason, it might not show up. Having a receipt is helpful, but you may need to contact support for further assistance if the game still does not appear.

If you continue to experience these issues, consider reaching out to Microsoft support for personalized assistance.

Hi Nad, I can understand how upsetting it must be to lose access to a game you paid for and enjoyed, especially after resolving other account problems.

To fix a Microsoft account password that doesn’t work after a reset wait at least 24 hours before retrying to avoid lockout from multiple failed attempts clear your browser’s cache and cookies or use a private browsing window use Microsoft’s Sign in Helper tool to explore alternative recovery options reset your password again using a verified method ensuring you enter the security code correctly and choose a strong password check for signs of account compromise and submit the Account Recovery Form with detailed information try signing in from a different device or network to rule out local issues verify that your device’s date and time settings are set to automatic and contact Microsoft Support using a different account if needed to request live chat assistance under Manage account security to fix a missing purchased game in your Microsoft or Xbox library confirm you’re signed into the correct Microsoft account by checking your order history review your game library filters to ensure the game isn’t hidden sign out and back in using the account that made the purchase check your region settings to match the purchase location repair or reset the Microsoft Store app if on PC try accessing your library through the Xbox app and contact Microsoft Support under Purchases and Missing Content using live chat.

Have you checked whether the game purchase is linked to a different Microsoft account or gamertag that you might have used in the past?

    Best regards

Thank you for your response, for my login issue, I've had this problem for months, this started happening months ago, I had given up and only started trying again and 2 days ago, and it still doesn't work. It works when I use it on the Microsoft website, or the Xbox app, but when I have to put in the password in order to play the game, that's when it says it's incorrect. For my second issue, I've made sure everything matches. I've been check my order history for the past year. I bought the game in January. And it still does not show up, I've check both of my Microsoft accounts and still nothing. I use to play the game until one day it stopped working. Is there a way you or the staff could check if my account still has access to the game. If you need the email to my other account I can also provide that as well. Also the game I bought was Minecraft, in case that helps.

    Thank You.
