iOS Outlook app notifications stop working

Since the last update to the iOS Outlook app. Notifications stop working after a few hours. I have to keep deleting and reinstalling the app in order for notifications to work again. It is very frustrating. I have an older version of the app on my iPad and the notifications are still working; it has to be a bug in the latest update??
