Briefcase Icon on Microsoft Edge Icon on taskbar

How do I turn off the briefcase icon on my Microsoft Edge icon on my taskbar? I went into settings and turned it off but it won't go away?

Hello,

To remove the briefcase icon from edge you need to be using a personal account, if you’re using a work or school account the briefcase is there to show that it’s for work.

To create an edge instance without the briefcase, open edge, go to the upper right and click on your profile picture, then click “set up a new profile” this will open a new edge window without a briefcase.
