Thanks for sharing the details, Veronica! I see you're using the classic outlook. Is it showing you any error messages like it's full or connection timed out?

As for basic troubleshooting, you can try opening your mailbox in Outlook Web Access (https://outlook.office.com).

If you see new mail there, the problem is local to Outlook.

    • Open Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features.
    • Select Microsoft Office > Change > choose Quick Repair. If that fails, run Online Repair but it takes longer.

If no new mail there, the issue is on the server side, wait or contact your mail admin.

See if this helps. If you need further assistance just let me know.

    Best regards,

    Kimberly

Got that. Go to File then Account Settings then Account Settings

Double-click the account then look under “Server Information”.

    Check if it says:

    • Microsoft Exchange or Microsoft 365 → MAPI over HTTP or Modern Auth
    • Exchange ActiveSync → (should not be used for desktop Outlook)
    • IMAP/POP → Sync can break if the server certificate changed.

Does it say any one of these?

Thanks again, turns out there was an issue with a personal and a business MS account causing conflict - all good now.
