how does one uninstall AOL Tech fortress, help needed ASAP!!!

THREE DAYS AGO, AS AN AOL.COM SUBSCRIBER, I INSTALLED AOL'S TECH FORTRESS, WHICH QUICKLY SEIXED CONTROL OF MY LAPTOP, PREVENTING THE DOWNLOADING AND INSTALLATION OF WORD DOCS AND EXCEL DATA, WITH FORTRESS CREATING POPUPS EVERY SECOND.

<><> I CANNOY FIND "THE KEY" TO UNINSTALLING THE TECH FORTRESS APPLICATION, DESPERATE FOR HELP. HAVE ATTEMPTED TO USE EVERY MICROSOFT APPLICATION ASSOCIATED WITH DELETING APPLICATIONS, INCLUDING CONTROL CENTER, TASKMASTER.

To uninstall AOL Tech Fortress, click on the Start Menu, then type in Control Panel, open Programs and features and Uninstall a Program, look for Tech Fortress and select to uninstall, follow the prompt on the screen, and finish the removal.
