here a few simple steps you can try, first, restart your PC using “Restart” instead of “Shut Down” this bypasses Fast Startup, which can sometimes block updates.

Run the Windows Update Troubleshooter, simply Go to Settings > System > Troubleshoot > Other troubleshooters, then run the one for Windows Update.

Check your update history, see if any updates failed and note any error codes.
