Is there a way to turn on the "Night light" display function when charging computer?

The "Night light" function turns off when my laptop is charging (i.e. when I am using my laptop while it is plugged in, the light softening function stops). This happens regardless of the time being during the selected hours. Is there any way to make the night light function work while charging? Thank you for your time!

    Hi,

You can try this: open Settings > System > Display > Night light settings, make sure Schedule night light is turned on, and manually adjust the strength slider. Then, check your power settings in Settings > System > Power & battery > Power mode, and set it to Balanced or Best power efficiency, since some performance modes may disable display effects like Night light when charging. Also, update your graphics driver from Device Manager > Display adapters > Update driver, as outdated drivers sometimes cause the display color filter to turn off during charging.

    Kind regards,
