Hi. With the azure portal associated with this account I got 1k credits with Microsoft for Startups which I wanted to use for credits of LLM models like Open AI's models. For this I adding a Azure for OpenAI service but when creating a resource group(as I don't have one yet) I got a message that said I don't have access to create a resource group.

When I look at my subscriptions I think I see the issue. When I click on the azure portal hereScreenshot from 2025-10-28 16-38-20

I have to sign in with my microsoft account while my account for microsoft for startup is my linkedin sign which is my gmail account. This lead to when I sign in to the azure portal there I don't see the subscription for the microsoft for startup. Is there a way to resolve this? Thanks a lot for the support.

I tried signing in with my gmail for the microsoft account but I got an error like so

Sign-in failed

Error code: AADSTS5000225

It seems that you're encountering issues with accessing your Azure credits due to the email account differences and a blocked tenant. Here are some steps you can take to resolve the situation:

    1. Use the Correct Account: Ensure that you are signing in to the Azure portal using the same Microsoft account that is associated with your Microsoft for Startups credits. If your Microsoft for Startups account is linked to your LinkedIn sign-in, you may need to use that method to access the Azure portal.
    2. Tenant Blocked Due to Inactivity: The error message you received indicates that the tenant has been blocked due to inactivity. You can try to reactivate the tenant by signing in with the appropriate account and following any prompts to restore access. If the tenant remains inactive, you may need to contact support for assistance.
    3. Contact Support: If you continue to face issues, consider reaching out to Microsoft support for help. You can submit a support request through the Microsoft for Startups Portal or the Azure portal, depending on your access.
    4. Check Subscription Status: Verify that your Azure subscription is active and correctly linked to the account you are using. You can do this by navigating to the subscriptions section in the Azure portal after logging in with the correct account.

If these steps do not resolve your issue, contacting support will be the best course of action to ensure you can utilize your Azure credits effectively.
