Change payment date

I've just changed my job and I'm now being paid monthly.

I need to change my payment date from the 14th to the 1st of the month.

How do I do this?

On a private Microsoft 365 subscription there is no method provided to change the billing date, the only way to do that would be to cancel the subscription, then wait until the first of the month and take out a new subscription.

To change your payment date for your Microsoft 365 subscription, you will need to follow these steps:

1. Go to the Microsoft 365 admin center.
2. If you're using the Simplified view, select Subscriptions.
3. If you're using the Dashboard view, go to the Billing > Your products page.
4. Select the subscription that you want to manage.
5. On the subscription details page, in the Subscription and payment settings section, select Edit billing frequency.
6. In the Edit billing frequency pane, choose your desired payment date and select Change.

Please note that changes to billing frequency typically take effect at renewal, so ensure to check when your next billing cycle is scheduled.
