Minecraft Java Edition locked to a permanently deleted Outlook Account

Hi all, I'm in a support loop and need advice.

  1. My old Microsoft account (outlook) was permanently deleted by Microsoft for inactivity (I didn't see this, as it was managed by my parents as a child).
  2. My paid Minecraft: Java Edition license is stuck on that dead account.

Minecraft Support sent me to Microsoft Support.

Microsoft Support's automated system is useless, as it asks me to log in to the account that doesn't exist.

I just need to transfer the license to my new, active account.

Question: How do I contact a real human at Microsoft who can handle a license transfer from a deleted account?

Thanks.

Hey there! Nice to meet you!

Unfortunately, it is simply not possible to transfer purchased licenses from one Microsoft account to another.

Also, a permanently deleted Microsoft account can no longer be recovered.

Your only option is to purchase the game on your active account.

    Thank you for your understanding.

    Best regards,

    You're welcome!

Even if the Minecraft account may still exist, transferring license is not possible. Your only option is to sign in to the Microsoft account where the game was purchased, provided that the account is not yet deleted.

But to answer your inquiry, "If I wanted to contact Microsoft, where should I?"

You may reach out to Microsoft Support through this link:
