Was this account created very recently? Have you connected it to any other Microsoft apps yet?

Based on your description, I suspect the account might not have been fully set up. Unfortunately, if that’s the case, the account may not be recoverable.

Hi, I'm John! I will help you with this.

Microsoft Q&A is public, and we can only provide information. It is beyond our capability to assist directly with the account or login-related issues.

To reset your password, please follow these steps:

    • Go to the Microsoft account recovery page: https://account.live.com/password/reset
    • Select "I forgot my password", then click Next.
    • Enter the email address or phone number linked to your Microsoft account and follow the on-screen instructions.

If you don’t have access to any of the recovery options listed, click on “I don’t have any of these” and fill out the form as accurately as possible. Microsoft uses that information to verify your identity.

Please know that this is a public forum, and I can only provide information.

I really hope this information is helpful! Let me know if you have any further questions or concerns.

    Regards,

    John J.D.
