What kind of product key are you referring to? Microsoft 365? Windows?

Where did you purchase the key, from third party?

If it is for Microsoft 365, have you already redeemed the key and associated it with your Microsoft account prior to this?

If your purchased from Microsoft, your product key is YOUR Microsoft account itself, it doesn't come in actual 25-digit product key format. Do you already have the apps installed? Just sign into your Microsoft account.

If you are using MS 365 you should be able to install its applications by logging on to your account, selecting Subscriptions, and then clicking on the Install button.
