The inconsistent login behavior (success in one area, immediate logout in another) seems unsettling, so your doubt is completely reasonable. But rest assured, this behavior sounds more like a device ban or a security block triggered by unusual sign-in activity, rather than a hack. Still, we need to take all measures:
1 - Secure your account immediately
- Go to: https://account.microsoft.com/security
- Review the Recent activity section for unusual entries
- Check the Your devices section and remove any strange devices
- Find and click "Sign out everywhere" or "Sign out of all devices"
- Change your password one more time to a secured, unique one
- Wait at least 24 hours before trying to log into your account again

2 - Clear Minecraft and Xbox App Cache
- Press Win + R > type
%appdata%\.minecraft> Press Enter - Look for
launcher_profiles.json- Or save it to another place for reset if anything goes wrong
- You can also change its name (e.g.
launcher_profiles.json.old)
- Open Xbox app > Sign out and close the app
- Press Win + R > type
wsreset.exe> Enter
3 - Resign into your account in this order:
- Open Microsoft Store > Log in (if you're already logged in, log out and retry)
- Open Xbox App > Log in > Launch Minecraft and try signing in again
