Hi Yoko,
Thank you for sharing your question. I see what you mean about wanting the pics on Windows Spotlight to be real. It’s cool seeing awesome places on the lock screen, so when something looks off like Mount Fuji popping up behind a Kyoto temple it makes sense to ask questions.
I get that it feels weird when the pics aren't what they seem, since Spotlight is supposed to show real places. From what Microsoft says, Windows Spotlight is there to show cool wallpapers, fun facts, and tips to make things better for users. They might touch up pics sometimes, but usually they should be real locations.
If a pic looks fake or messes with reality, you can tell Microsoft using the Feedback Hub app. It lets you send issues, ideas, and even screenshots. Here’s how to report the image:
Please follow these steps.
Hit the Windows key + F to bring up the Feedback Hub. It'll grab a screenshot automatically.
Pick “Report a problem,” explain what’s wrong (like, “This Kyoto pic on Windows Spotlight has Mount Fuji in it, which isn’t right”), and send it.
You can also find Feedback Hub by typing it in the Start menu. Check out Microsoft’s support page for details.
May I also ask do you still have the image on your device or saved? If you do, I can help you figure out where it came from or add it to your feedback.
I hope this answer is helpful, if you have any questions, feel free to reply.
Best Regards,
Noel
