Hello Onyinyechi,
Thank you for reaching out and sharing your concern about Memory Integrity not turning off. I understand how frustrating it can be when a setting doesn’t respond as expected especially when you're trying to resolve compatibility issues or improve system performance.
Memory Integrity is a security feature in Windows that helps protect your system from malicious code by isolating critical processes. However there are situations where disabling it becomes necessary such as when certain drivers or applications are incompatible.
If the toggle to turn off Memory Integrity is greyed out or not responding it could be due to a few reasons. Your system might have incompatible drivers or it could be managed by an organization through Group Policy which restricts changes to this setting. In some cases the issue can also be resolved by editing the Windows Registry.
To move forward I recommend checking for any incompatible drivers in Windows Security select Device Security select Core Isolation details. If drivers are listed there updating or removing them might help. If your device is part of a managed domain or organization you may need to contact your IT administrator. Alternatively you can try disabling Memory Integrity through the Registry Editor by navigating to:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\DeviceGuard\Scenarios\HypervisorEnforcedCodeIntegrity
Then set the Enabled value to 0 and restart your PC.
Could you let me know if the toggle is greyed out or if you're seeing any error messages?
I hope this answer is helpful if you have further questions feel free to reply back
Regards,
Marcelo
