There's a software bug, where the buttons for this program do not always register. This includes the buttons for increasing or decreasing the zoom, as well as the standard minimize, maximize, and close buttons one the top right corner. The buttons at the toolbar are also inconsistent if you right-click the icon when that app is in use. The buttons can work, but they are inconsistent if you use the mouse. As a side note, the built in screen-grab function (different windows feature) doesn't seem to register or allow people to save screengrabs. Finally, It would be nice if the Microsoft windows support pages, such as this one, could automatically log what version of windows is being used in reports; similar to android support tickets.

It seems you are experiencing issues with the magnifier application in Windows, particularly with button responsiveness and functionality. Here are a few troubleshooting steps you can consider:

    1. Update Windows: Ensure that your Windows operating system is up-to-date. Sometimes, bugs are fixed in newer updates.
    2. Check for Application Updates: If the magnifier is part of a specific application, check if there are any updates available for that application.
    3. Restart the Application: Close the magnifier and restart it to see if the issue persists.
    4. Check Mouse Settings: Sometimes, mouse settings can affect how buttons are registered. Ensure that your mouse drivers are updated and that settings like double-click speed are configured properly.
    5. Accessibility Settings: Review the accessibility settings in Windows to ensure that there are no conflicting settings that might affect the magnifier's performance.
    6. Use Keyboard Shortcuts: If mouse buttons are inconsistent, try using keyboard shortcuts for zooming in and out. For example, you can use Ctrl + 1 to enter Zoom Mode and Ctrl + Mouse Scroll to zoom in or out.
    7. Screen Grab Functionality: If the built-in screen-grab function is not working, consider using third-party screenshot tools or check if there are any settings that need to be enabled for it to function properly.

If these steps do not resolve the issue, you may want to report the bug to Microsoft support for further assistance. Your suggestion about automatically logging the Windows version in support tickets is a valuable idea that could enhance user support experience.
