Hi I'm trying to access a Teams meeting recording that has been shared with me but get this error AADSTS50020: User account 'rt@*.com' from identity provider 'live.com' does not exist in tenant '****su' and cannot access the application '5e3ce6c0-2b1f-4285-8d4b-75ee78787346'(Microsoft Teams Web Client) in that tenant. The account needs to be added as an external user in the tenant first. Sign out and sign in again with a different Azure Active Directory user account.

    Hello,

Looks like you used a personal account to join a meeting hosted by a business user.

Did the meeting host share the recording file with you, or did you see the recrding at the end of the meeting chat and try to access it that way?

Either way, you need to have proper permission. Have the meeting host change the recording permission so that you can view it.

The error code AADSTS50020 indicates that the user account you are trying to use to access the Teams meeting recording does not exist in the tenant associated with the application. This usually happens when a guest user from an identity provider (like live.com) tries to access a resource in a different tenant without being invited as an external user.

To resolve this issue, you should:

    1. Check if you have been invited: Ensure that your account has been added as a guest user in the tenant where the Teams meeting recording is hosted.
    2. Sign out and sign in again: If you have multiple accounts, sign out from your current session and sign in again using the correct Azure Active Directory user account that has access to the tenant.
    3. Contact the administrator: If you are unsure about your access, you may need to reach out to the administrator of the tenant to ensure your account is properly set up for access.

Following these steps should help you resolve the error and gain access to the Teams recording.
