It sounds like you're seeing unexpected charge for Microsoft Security Copilot that you weren't fully aware of during setup. While the cost was mentioned per hour, as you've noted, it seems like there may not have been enough information about how that adds up when the service runs continuously.
Microsoft Security Copilot pricing is based on SCUs. You’re charged for the provisioned SCUs that support regular workloads on a monthly basis, and there's also an overage charge for any additional SCUs used. This means if you have SCUs running continuously, you will indeed be billed for that entire time.

If you’re unsure of how to navigate the refund request process or have specific concerns, you can contact Azure support directly via the help section in the Azure portal.
Here are the steps you can follow to create support requests:
- Go to Azure portal > Search for Help + Support or https://portal.azure.com/#view/Microsoft_Azure_Support/HelpAndSupportBlade/~/overview
- Click on Create a Support Request
- On right-side panel, enter Billing and click Go > select the issue with "Billing" > select your Subscription then click Next.
- Do not click on request a refund instead click on the Create support request on top of the panel.

- Select the Issue type as Billing and, select the summary, problem type and problem subtype as below > click on the Next__.__

- Do not click on request a refund or any recommendation solution/article, instead click on the Return to support request then click Next.

- Fill out all the required information and provide a clear description of your issue and click Next.
- Review and create as submit the support request
- You should receive an automated email within a few minutes and then be contacted by support team.
