Is the problem solved? If not, check disk C: for errors, run off-line update version http://www.catalog.update.microsoft.com/Search.aspx?q=KB5068861

If you're experiencing issues with the 2025-11 Security Update failing, here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot the problem:

    1. Review the Failing Step: Check the detailed step progress to identify where the update is failing. Look for the failing step name, description, and any failure messages that may provide insight into the issue.
    2. Common Issues: Some common reasons for update failures include:
      • Power loss or interruptions during the update process.
      • Memory, power supply, or critical failures on one or more nodes.
      • The update may be superseded or already installed.
    3. Remediation Steps: Depending on the issue:
      • If there was a power loss, restore power and run a system health check before resuming the update.
      • For critical failures, refer to the appropriate repair procedures for your system.
      • If the update is already installed or superseded, verify that you are attempting to install the correct version.
    4. Collect Diagnostic Logs: If you continue to face issues, consider collecting diagnostic logs to help identify the problem. You can do this through the Azure portal or PowerShell.
    5. Contact Support: If the problem persists after troubleshooting, consider opening a support ticket with Microsoft, providing them with the logs and details of the failure.

By following these steps, you should be able to identify and potentially resolve the issue with the update failure.
