Wireless Display Connects but no Mouse Arrow or curser

I connect my Galaxy Tab 8 to my laptop (win 11) and extend my workspace. I can move a window or tab onto my wireless but I cannot see my mouse once the curser moves to the wireless. I am sure it is something simple but it escapes me.

Any ideas?

    Hi Scott Peotter

You're absolutely right — this is a common hiccup when using wireless display projection on Windows 11, especially with devices like the Galaxy Tab. The mouse cursor becomes invisible on the extended screen, even though it’s still functional (you can click and highlight items).

One workaround that has helped many users is to toggle the Magnifier tool:

Press Windows key + Plus (+) to turn it on

Then press Windows key + Esc to turn it off

This refreshes the display rendering and often brings the cursor back.

If that doesn’t resolve it, make sure your graphics drivers are up to date, and check your display scaling settings — mismatches between the primary and wireless display can sometimes cause rendering issues.

Let me know if this helps! And if it does, feel free to hit “Accept Answer” so others can benefit too 🙂.

    Harry.
