How to get rid of repeated sign in pop up

Hi, I work for a couple businesses under the same roof and so use microsoft office (Word) for all admin tasks. Recently i have been getting a pop up repeatedly asking for a passkey. However, I have tried to follow the process in order to get the pop up to go but it just wont. It keeps saying about an administrator needed. But I have tried both companies details as the administrator and nothing has solved it. I have tried to contact support but end up in a neverending cycle of needing to sign out and sign in to the 'correct' account in order to contact support.

The repeated pop up is very annoying.

I have copy and pasted this from within the pop up after I have entered the business details;

SSPR_0011: Your organisation hasn’t set up a password reset policy. If you're an administrator, you can get more information from the How to successfully roll out password reset article. If you're not an administrator, you can provide this information when you contact your administrator.

This is highly annoying. As it interferes frequently with my tasks. The boss doesn't have any idea on a solution as they didnt handle it in the past. And the previous person that did, no longer works here and isnt available to ask.

    Hello JDF Flooring, thanks for sharing your issue with the community.

    To resolve the repeated sign-in pop-up and the SSPR_0011 error you're encountering in Microsoft Office, the best course of action is to contact your organization's IT support team or system administrator. This error is related to your organization's Microsoft Entra ID configuration, specifically the Self-Service Password Reset settings. Only someone with administrative access to your organization's Microsoft 365 or Entra tenant can enable and configure the password reset policy needed to stop these prompts.

    Hope this helps clarify the situation.

    Kind regards,

    John Oli

    Hi, thanks for that. I do not know who has administrative access. Hence why I wanted to contact microsoft directly but i dont seem to be able to do so.
