I am unable to login to my account for microsoft365 and office. I had set a pin, which when I set it had gave me no minimum or maximum length, as there was an eight digit number that I would never forget, and nobody else would no it. I went to log in yesterday and the screen limited to six digits, I have tried to bypass the pin and reset the password. I get a QR code which when I scan it my phone produces a load of gobbledigook which appears to do nothing. My phone no, and my both my email accounts have been verified.

Can you help me sort this.

To resolve your login issues with Microsoft 365 and Office, you can follow these steps:

    1. PIN Length Issue: If your PIN was initially set without restrictions and is now limited to six digits, it may be due to a policy change. Ensure that you are entering the correct PIN as required by the current settings.
    2. Password Reset: Since you mentioned trying to reset your password, ensure that you are following the correct procedure. You can use your security information to reset your password if your global admin has enabled this feature. If you are unable to reset it yourself, contact your global admin for assistance.
    3. QR Code Issues: If the QR code you scanned produced unreadable content, ensure that you are using a compatible authentication app. Sometimes, scanning issues can occur due to lighting or camera focus. Try scanning the code again in a well-lit area or using a different device if available.
    4. Account Verification: Since you mentioned that your phone number and email accounts are verified, double-check that the verification methods are correctly configured in your account settings. You may also want to try using alternative verification methods if available.
    5. Contact Support: If none of the above solutions work, consider reaching out to Microsoft support for further assistance. They can help you troubleshoot account access problems specific to your situation.
