 Hello,
I was trying to set up my bios for the new Call of Duty that requires both TPM and secure boot to play. I have a ryzen 5 5600x on a Gigabye aorus x570 motherboard with the F39 update on it. I turned the CSM (CMS?) option off and turned Secure boot on. To active secure boot, it asked me to reset a key. I agreed and reset the pc as it asked. It will not turn on now. I press the power button and the fans and lights kick on, but the boot screen with the aorus eagle will not come on, nor do i have the option to enter BIOS. The computer repair place opens tomorrow morning but I'm just wondering if there is anything i can do to remedy the situation or if anyone knows what may have happened. As long as i didnt like ruin it or anything, it's fine. It'll be fixed tomorrow. I will keep this tab open for a few hours to see if anyone replies to this thread. Any help is appreciated.

   Thanks, Ethan

It sounds like you may have encountered an issue with the Secure Boot configuration on your motherboard. When you reset the Secure Boot keys, it can sometimes lead to boot problems if the system is not able to find the necessary keys or if the configuration is not compatible with the current hardware setup.

Here are a few steps you can try to remedy the situation:

    1. Power Cycle the PC: Turn off the power completely, unplug the power supply, and hold the power button for about 10-15 seconds. Then plug it back in and try to power it on again.
    2. Clear CMOS: If your motherboard has a CMOS reset jumper or button, use it to reset the BIOS settings to factory defaults. This can sometimes resolve boot issues caused by incorrect settings.
    3. Try Different Key Combinations: Sometimes, certain key combinations (like holding down the Delete or F2 key) can help you access the BIOS even if the initial boot screen does not appear.
    4. Check Hardware Connections: Ensure that all hardware components are properly connected, including RAM, GPU, and any other peripherals.

If these steps do not resolve the issue, it may be best to wait for the computer repair service to assist you. They will have the tools and expertise to diagnose and fix the problem safely.

It's unlikely that you have ruined the hardware, as these issues are often fixable through BIOS settings or hardware resets.
