Is Outlook holding back emails?

It seems as if Outlook is not letting all my emails come through. I have no rules set up in my settings. I haven't blocked any senders. I have checked my junkfolder, there is absolutely nothing in there either (which is strange, because I always receive some spam every day). My settings are standard, not strict. Is Outlook becoming too strict in allowing emails to come through?

    Hi!

    Welcome to Microsoft Q&A forum.

This does not happen because Outlook “became stricter”, it happens because something in the account configuration, filtering, or server sync is intercepting the messages before Outlook shows them to you.

Can I verify If you are using @outlook.com/Hotmail/Live account?

    Hi!

I am using @hotmail.com. Everything was fine until Sunday Nov. 9, when I stopped receiving e-mails from my local drugstore. I have been receiving less and less from other stores I've subscribed to. I've tried subscribing to the drugstore again on their site, but I don't receive the confirmation e-mail. I don't know what to do.

Since it started suddenly on Nov 9, your address likely got a new server-side spam and some senders are being silently blocked.

Go ahead and check "Other" inbox on Outlook.com (webmail)

    • Go to: https://outlook.live.com
    • At the top of the mailbox: Focused | Other
    • Click Other, many promotional emails get diverted here.

Even if you checked on the desktop app, please check on the Outlook.com web inbox

You can also do this on the desktop app (add safe senders) On Outlook.com:

    • Click the gear icon
    • Mail
    • Junk email
    • Under Safe senders and domains, click Add
    • Enter their exact sending domain, for example:
      • @drugstore.com (or what ever they use)
    • This forces Microsoft to deliver it.

    In the same menu:

    • Scroll to Blocked senders and domains

If your drugstore or store domains are listed

Let me know once done so I can assist you further.

    Hi!

My mailbox is in Dutch (I live in the Netherlands). I think my mailbox looks a bit different because I can't find a folder that says Focused or Other. All my senders were already on a safelist. No one is blocked. Those were the first things I checked after I stopped receiving certain mails.

The only folders I have are: Postvak IN (inbox), Ongewenste e-mail (junk/spam), Concepten (concepts), Verzonden Items (sent items), Verwijderde Items (deleted items), Archiveren (archiving), Gespreksgeschiedenis (conversation history) and Notities (notes).

I have checked all of these folders. I have no folders at the top of my mailbox. So I don't know where I can find Other.

Laten we Postvak IN met prioriteit inschakelen in Outlook Classic(beste manier)

    Probeer dit eens:

    1. Open Outlook (bureaublad)
    2. Ga naar het bovenste menu: Beeld (Weergave)
