Call of Duty MW3 not working

Hello,

I am reaching out regarding an issue with Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III (Cross-Gen Bundle), which I recently purchased from the Microsoft Store.

Although the game appears under Owned Games in the Xbox app on PC as MW3 Launcher, when I install and open it, the game does not allow me to play. Instead, it keeps prompting me to purchase the game, even though I already own it.

Here are the key details of the problem:

I have purchased the MW3 Cross-Gen Bundle legitimately from the Microsoft Store.

The game appears as owned in the Xbox app on PC, but it does not grant me access in-game.

When launching, the game requests that I purchase it again.

On my Xbox console, the game works perfectly, so the license is clearly valid.

I have all necessary proof of purchase and screenshots that confirm the issue.

I kindly request that this problem be investigated and resolved as soon as possible, as I would like to enjoy the game I paid for.

    Thanks for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A Forum. I understand that you already purchased Call of Duty MW3, but it still requests a purchase when launching.

    Please go to your purchase history and confirm that you already purchased it for your current account.

    One thing is that you bought the game on the Xbox console; you can't use it on the PC version. The second thing is that you can access the game on your console using xCloud if you have Game Pass Ultimate, thus having the chance to install the game as well as the console and PC versions.

    So you can't install the games you have from the console on your PC; you have to buy the PC version that includes the entire Xbox catalog.

    You can only install without purchasing if it is through Game Pass.

    If you completely purchased both, please contact Xbox Support for further assistance.
