Feedback on Windows 11 Changes and User Experience

Hi Microsoft Team,

I’m reaching out to share concerns about the recent updates introduced through the Windows 11 platform. Many of these changes have shifted the user experience toward a more Chromebook-like model, removing several of the features and flexibility that originally made Microsoft my preferred system.

If Windows 11 continues moving in this direction, it becomes difficult to justify the higher cost of maintaining a Microsoft-based workflow. At that point, switching fully to Chrome would be the more practical and cost-effective choice.

I’m hoping you can share whether Microsoft plans to address these changes or offer alternatives for users who prefer the traditional Windows experience. I’ve always valued the capabilities Windows provided, and I’d like to continue using Microsoft products without feeling pushed toward a completely different operating model.

Thank you for your time and attention.

Note that Microsoft decision makers won't see what you write in the forum. Most of the people who read your messages in Q&A are your fellow users of Microsoft products and services.

Could you give some examples of which changes you are referring to?

I came "here" to look for a fix, for a symptom, that microsoft has known about for quite a while... Obviously I ended up on a forum (with a janky sign up/in system)... the first Feedback I come across pretty much states exactly how I feel about Windows.... and the first reply Says-"Microsoft doesn't read any of their user's input.".......Perfect response. Sums up Microsoft's entire user experience.
