SharePoint Online News Web Part 'See All' Changed

My organization has been using SharePoint Online's News web part for close to two years for our internal newsletters. Previously, we used to be able to go to a section/label for the newsletter, then click "See all" and see all articles under that specific section/label. Screenshot of how it used to look below:User's image

However, this morning (11/18/25), clicking "See all" takes you to a page that has all articles, regardless of their section, which is not what I want. The layout of that page also changed. Screenshot of how it now looks below:User's image

How do I change it back to how it was? This was NOT a helpful change at all.

This is a horrible change, from layout and structure. Also, Microsoft please look up the definition of "See All", its a bit different than show me the most recent 50 news articles. I work for a company with 8,000 global employees and we use SharePoint as the intranet. The last 50 articles takes me only 3 months back at most.

Ended up building a custom search to show the articles more logically (and completely).

The fact that admins do not have a choice in changing the view is horrible and it just means that this was programmed without being tested and it seems nobody likes these changes. SO PLEASE MS CHANGE IT BACK!

Similar issue. We have news posts going back to July 2024 - but 'see all' only shows posts as far back as... September 2025. Someone at Microsoft needs to reread the dictionary definition of 'all' - if you ask me.

The fact that the +New news post has disappeared from the view too. This is causing a havoc on my simpler users. They have now gone to manage news posts and created pages instead of news. So much unnecessary support cases because of this change. The view is also disoriented and hard to view. Who ever decided this layout likes to see the world burn :( Did anyone manage to A change it back, or B edit the new news.aspx page?

Here are a few steps you can try:

    1. Check the Web Part Settings: Sometimes updates add new settings. Go to the settings of the News web part and see if there are any new options that allow you to filter or change the "See all" behavior.
    2. Use Filters: If the new page shows all articles, try using filters to narrow down to the specific section/label you are interested in.
    3. Contact Microsoft Support: If the change is impacting your workflow significantly, consider reaching out to Microsoft Support for assistance or to provide feedback.

If none of these steps help, you might need to adapt to the new layout or look for alternative ways to organize and display your news articles.
