Having problems with WICD Customize Windows 10 Start and taskbar with provisioning packages
We have provisioning package files that set the Start menu and task bar. I am trying to create another PPKG file that changes the taskbar without success. The original package has the changes in a layoutmodification.xml file located at under runtime settings, folders, public documents, Layout modification with a path to layoutmodification.xml. Also there is another layoutmodification.xml located under runtime settings, provisioningcommands, devicecontext, commandfiles, Install apps with a path to layoutmodification.xml. I have edited the layout modification file from the xml code below to remove Internet explorer and add File explorer.
- <LayoutModificationTemplate xmlns:defaultlayout="http://schemas.microsoft.com/Start/2014/FullDefaultLayout" xmlns:start="http://schemas.microsoft.com/Start/2014/StartLayout" xmlns:taskbar="http://schemas.microsoft.com/Start/2014/TaskbarLayout" Version="1" xmlns="http://schemas.microsoft.com/Start/2014/LayoutModification">
<LayoutOptions StartTileGroupCellWidth="6" /> - <DefaultLayoutOverride LayoutCustomizationRestrictionType="OnlySpecifiedGroups">
- <StartLayoutCollection>
- <defaultlayout:StartLayout GroupCellWidth="6">
- <start:Group Name="Utilities">
<start:Tile Size="2x2" Column="0" Row="0" AppUserModelID="Microsoft.ScreenSketch_8wekyb3d8bbwe!App" />
</start:Group>
</defaultlayout:StartLayout>
</StartLayoutCollection>
</DefaultLayoutOverride> - <CustomTaskbarLayoutCollection PinListPlacement="Replace">
- <defaultlayout:TaskbarLayout>
- <taskbar:TaskbarPinList>
<taskbar:UWA AppUserModelID="Microsoft.MicrosoftEdge_8wekyb3d8bbwe!MicrosoftEdge" />

</defaultlayout:TaskbarLayout>
</CustomTaskbarLayoutCollection>
</LayoutModificationTemplate>
Below is the new Xml.
