If Outlook is not responding and you have already attempted to repair your data file without success, there are several additional steps you can take to troubleshoot the issue:

    1. Check for Updates: Ensure that you have the latest updates installed for Microsoft Office. Sometimes, updates can resolve performance issues.
    2. Disable Add-ins: A previously installed add-in might be interfering with Outlook. You can start Outlook in safe mode to see if it works without add-ins. To do this, hold down the Ctrl key while launching Outlook, or run outlook.exe /safe from the Run dialog.
    3. Create a New User Profile: Sometimes, a corrupted user profile can cause issues. You can create a new Outlook profile by going to Control Panel > Mail > Show Profiles, and then adding a new profile.
    4. Check Antivirus Software: Ensure your antivirus software is up-to-date and check if it conflicts with Outlook. You may need to disable Outlook integration within your antivirus software temporarily to see if that resolves the issue.
    5. Repair Office Programs: You can also try to repair your Office installation. Go to Control Panel > Programs and Features, right-click on Microsoft Office, and select Repair.
    6. Run the Classic Outlook Advanced Diagnostics Troubleshooter: This tool can help identify and resolve issues with Outlook. Make sure you are using the same Windows device that classic Outlook is installed on.

If these steps do not resolve the issue, you may need to consult with Microsoft Support for further assistance.

Hi Tony Guerguis, I completely understand how stressful this situation must be for you especially since you’ve already invested so much time trying to fix it and your business is being impacted.

To resolve Outlook sign in and freezing issues clear old credentials in Windows Credential Manager delete Autodiscover cache files from C:\Users<YourUsername>\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Outlook\ rename your OST/PST to force a rebuild run system integrity checks using sfc /scannow and DISM and clean up old Outlook profiles in the registry under HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office<version>\Outlook\Profiles and verify at account.microsoft.com if MFA or account lock is causing authentication problems.

Before Outlook started freezing did you recently change your password, enable MFA or receive any Microsoft security alerts?

    Best regards
