Can I get a Review tab for New Outlook - I need my review facilities and in particular the Thesaurus that was readily available in Classic Outlook

With respect, Classic Outlook had Review facilities with which to improve drafting, including a good Thesaurus. There is now no Review tag and I can't find access to a thesaurus.

Hello Hugh Aldous, Thank you for posting this in our community.

I completely understand how important the Thesaurus is for improving the quality of your emails. At this time, the New Outlook does not include the Review tab or Thesaurus. However, you can switch back to Classic Outlook to continue using these features. Another option is to draft your emails in Microsoft Word, which offers the full Review tools, and then copy them into Outlook.

I believe Microsoft are actively working on adding more editing capabilities in future updates. You can also submit feedback directly through Outlook by selecting Help > Feedback to help prioritize this feature.

Yes. Thank you. That is what I am doing when I plan ahead! Drafting in word and pasting across. This is tedious for professional people who have to send thoughtful emails and manage as quickly as possible. Let's hope Microsoft think of the customer first as they improve, as they are doing, their products.

I believe that the Review option is an important aspect that needs to be included specially when you are writing in french.

That is a serious error by Microsoft. New outlook has good streamline aspects, but lack or Review is a problem for anyone thoughtful about their drafting.

The new Outlook for Windows does not currently support the Thesaurus or other review features that were available in Classic Outlook. The new Outlook is designed with a different architecture and focuses on providing a streamlined experience, which means that some features from the classic version, such as the Review tab, are not included in the new version.

If you require these features, you may need to continue using Classic Outlook until similar functionalities are implemented in the new version.
