I am excited to use the newsletter feature but am struggling to find a way to add fonts. My list of fonts available in outlook is a big list but when i click into the newsletter feature I suddenly have a much smaller list that is missing ones my brand prefers. Is there a specific location I need to install fonts to make them active in newsletter? Or maybe a way to expand the list beyond what is displayed?

Currently, there is no specific information available regarding adding custom fonts directly to the newsletter feature in the New Outlook. The font options available in the newsletter feature may be limited to a predefined set that is supported by the application. If your preferred fonts are not appearing in this feature, it may be due to compatibility issues or restrictions within the Outlook application itself.

For general font management in Windows, you can ensure that your fonts are installed correctly in the system. You can add fonts through the Settings app under Fonts or by installing them directly into the Windows Fonts folder. However, this may not guarantee their availability in the Outlook newsletter feature, as it depends on the application's support for those fonts.

If you are looking for more flexibility in font usage, consider using web-safe fonts or those that are commonly supported across email clients, as they are more likely to render correctly in various environments.

    Hi @Mike Sawchuk,

Welcome to the Microsoft Q&A forum.

Thank you for sharing your feedback and experience with the newsletter feature in Outlook. I understand how important it is to maintain brand consistency, and having access to your preferred fonts is a key part of that.

Currently, the newsletter feature uses a simplified editor that supports a limited set of web-safe fonts to ensure compatibility across different email clients and devices. This is why the font list appears smaller compared to the full set available in Outlook desktop. Unfortunately, custom fonts or locally installed fonts are not supported in the newsletter editor at this time.

If brand-specific fonts are essential, one workaround is to design the newsletter in an external tool (such as Word or a design platform) and then insert the content as an image or use HTML formatting when sending via Outlook. However, please note that using images may impact accessibility and responsiveness.

Microsoft is continuously improving the newsletter experience, and your feedback is valuable in shaping future updates. As a forum moderator, I hope you understand that I don’t have the ability to modify or escalate product issues directly. However, I strongly recommend submitting your feedback through the Outlook (new) · Community. This is the most effective way to ensure your voice reaches the product team and can be considered for future improvements.
