Have a Microsoft 365 Business account ... Can only log in a Personal account and cannot see Business account

When I sign into my Microsoft 365 account, it takes me to a personal account. There's nothing on that account except a few details like birthdate and email address. I cannot see any purchases, payments, software, etc.

I spent an entire day on the chats because Microsoft doesn't answer their phones, and only refers you back to the website (totally unhelpful) before hanging up on you.

No one was able to figure anything out.

But one person did notice that I was signed in as a Personal account, but my account is actually a Business account. (after over an hour on the chat with them)

So, how do I \log in as a Business account holder. I tried, but the site said I couldn't use the email I have (the email to which they send my Business account notifications) to log into a Business account.

HELP! I'm desperate! (Which is how Microsoft always leaves you feeling!!)

    Dear @Yvette,

Thank you for posting your question in the Microsoft Q&A forum.

Based on your description, you’re signed into a Microsoft personal account instead of your Microsoft 365 Business account and cannot access subscriptions or billing. you want to switch to the correct work or school account and resolve the email conflict so you can log in as the Business account holder.- which website did you log in?

    • Could you provide us more detail information or message of that issue so we could support you more effectively?
In the meantime, here are some suggestions you can try:

Sign in with the correct account type:

    1. Go to https://office.com and select Sign in.
    2. When prompted, choose Work or School Account and enter your business credentials.

After signing in with the Work or School Account, check Subscriptions and Billing at https://account.microsoft.com or the Microsoft 365 Admin Center.

If the same email is used for both accounts:

    • Sign in to https://account.microsoft.com with your Personal Account.
    • Add a new alias (different email) and set it as Primary.
    • Remove your work email from the Personal Account aliases. This prevents conflicts and allows clean login to your Business account.

I hope information above can help you resolve the issue, if you have any other questions, please feel free to reach out.
