Nothing works. Windows 11 since 2021 is an inefficient OS. I format the PC and installed Windows 11 22H2., and disabled the updates.

Latest Windows 11 25H2 shared printer, another PC also using same version no able to connect to the shared printer, refer to the below image. if the printer shared by Windows 24H2 and tested no have issue for connect it.

do you have windows 11 home or pro?
if you have windows 11 pro:
- Press WIN + R and type "gpedit.msc"
- Follow this path: Administrative Templates → Printers → Configure RPC connection settings
- choose the RPC over named pipes from the dropdown
- click OK
if you have windows 11 home:
- Press WIN + R and type "regedit"
- Follow this path:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Windows NT\Printers\RPC] - open
RpcUseNamedPipeProtocolREG_DWORD - set the value to 1
restart windows and let me know how it goes

One of the User with printer shared on the network and other user want to access the printer. Still the same 0x00000709 error is displayed, trying for the past one month with no success. Every time new update is introduced new issues are generated.

from settings > bluetooth and devices > printers and scanners > add device
now see if your printer is listed
if not, choose Add manually
you can choose Select a shared printer by name OR, if doesn't work, choose Add a local printer or network printer with manual settings, as a port choose Standard TCP IP port

2025-11-28T02:19:44.3533333+00:00 can not work, since the computer is local USB cable connection. No have IP address, if its network printer then no need to using sharing method, can direct install as network printer by IP address

if you type the computer name in file explorer, can you access to the network path? Now where are you trying to add the shared printer from?

2025-11-21T08:11:03.7133333+00:00 yes, i can browse that computer sharing folder and shared printer name as the above image. normally i will using run --> \desktop-rd47rhk type the computer name to browse it, after that double the shared printer name to connect it.

Do you have antivirus and firewall software enabled on your system?
