Unable to print document with an embedded image. Went back to older doc. with same format and now the image does not show in doc when print preview is used.

If you're unable to print a document with an embedded image in Word, there are several potential issues to consider:

    1. Wrapping Style: Ensure that the image is set to the "In line with text" wrapping style. If it's set to a different wrapping style, it may not appear in Print Preview or when printing. You can change this by clicking on the image, going to the Format tab, selecting Text Wrapping, and then choosing In line with text.
    2. View Mode: Check if you are in Draft or Outline view. Images may not display in these views. Switch to Print Layout or Web Layout view to see if the image appears.
    3. Show Drawings and Text Boxes: Make sure the Show drawings and text boxes on screen option is enabled. You can find this setting in Word Options under the Advanced section.
    4. Print Drawings Created in Word: Ensure that the Print drawings created in Word option is checked in the Display settings of Word Options. This allows images and objects to be printed.
    5. Use Draft Quality: Check if the Use draft quality option is turned off. If it's on, it may affect how images are printed.
    6. Picture Placeholders: If the Picture Placeholders option is enabled, it may prevent images from displaying. Disable this option in the Word Options under the Advanced section.

By checking and adjusting these settings, you should be able to resolve the issue with the embedded image not appearing in Print Preview or when printing.

    Hello,

Sometimes text editors bug out when you copy and paste text with images included in the selection, try downloading the image and manually putting it into the doc with the "insert" function instead of raw copypasting it with the text.

    Hope this helps,

    JC
