How to fix "This alias cannot be added to your account. Choose a different alias."?

so i got a problem with the microsoft rewards thing when i try to redeem my points and at the add phone number it always fails like gimmes me an error This alias cannot be added to your account. Choose a different alias. i tried so much methods but they didn't help me at all. I saw same problem with many user and i found same forum like this but its was locked. I just hope people found a method to fix this problem "i already tired how much i getting problems with microsoft"

You're welcome, Niks! You can check if your phone number is linked to another Microsoft account by using Forgot username on the Microsoft sign in page. Enter your number and Microsoft will text you any usernames connected to it. If nothing comes back, the number is not linked to any account. If the number still will not re add, contact Microsoft support so they can check the block on their side.

Check if the email or phone number you want to add is already used on another Microsoft account, since each alias must be unique. Sign in at account.microsoft.com go to Your info > Manage how you sign in to Microsoft, and try adding a different, unused alias. If it still fails, contact Microsoft support through support.microsoft.com so they can review your account and resolve any conflicts safely.
