Hi Viorel Stan,
Good Day. I'm Jhun an independent advisor. In regards with Product key of your newly purchase Windows 11, here's a list of ways on how you can find your product key.
A. Check your License if it uses a product key. Microsoft sometimes does not issue a product key. Some purchases activate using a Digital License tied to your Microsoft account.
- On your PC, Go to Settings > System > Activation
- Look at Activation State:
a. "Windows is activated with a digital license" > No product key exists
b. Not activated > see next step.
B. Check Microsoft Account Order History. Your key may appear here.
- Go to https://account.microsoft.com/billing/orders.
- Find your Windows 11 Home purchase
- click "View details". If a key was issued, you will see one of these:
Product Key
Get your product key
Download and key
If now key is shown, this means your purchase uses a digital license and not a key.
C. Check if a key is already installed on your device. Sometimes Windows picks up a key automatically (OEM, previous installs, etc.)
- Open Command Prompt.
- Run:
wmic path softwarelicensingservice get OA3xOriginalProductKey - On results if:
A key appears > Windows already has a key stored
If Blank > No key installed.
D. Use the Windows Activation troubleshooter. If your purchase uses a digital license:
- Go to Settings > System > Activation
- Click troubleshoot
- Select "I recently changed hardware"
- Sign in > Select your device > Activate. This will activate Windows without using a key.
E. Check the Microsoft Store Library. Sometimes Microsoft embeds the digital license there.
- Open Microsoft Store.
- Click your Profile > Library.
- look for Windows 11 (Digital License)
- If it shows "You own this" your account holds the license (no key issued).
F. You mentioned you already check your email. Dont forget to check other email folders like Spam/Junk, Promotions, Updates tab, All mail, etc.
I hope this helps
Regards,
Jhun
