Microsoft Loop - Using Print & PDF Export does not send entire Loop page to the print dialogue. Only parts of it.

I have created pages in Loop to use as Minutes of Meeting with various category / status to visually show the current status of action points, participants in the meeting and so forth.

For over 6 months now I have used this for meetings and then used the "Print & PDF Export" function to create a PDF of the MoM to send to participants (and others in the organization) as an email attachment.

However, starting in week 48 (specifically on Monday the 17th of November) using the "Print & PDF Export" does not send the entire Loop page to the printer output / dialogue. It only sends part of the Loop page.

I have tried a variety of suggestions;

  1. Run Loop as App and try printing - failed.
  2. Run Loop in browser (both Edge and Chrome) and try printing - failed.
  3. Create a new Loop page and see if print works there - failed.
  4. Change Chrome as Default Browser for print output - failed.

In the end I had to manually select the entire Loop page content and copy/paste into a Word file to be able to send the MoM this week. Which obviously leads to several formatting issues and unprofessional look, even though at least the key information is contained.

It is clear that the issue is not locally on my end, but lies within Loop after some update and in the way Loop pushes the Loop page content to the printer dialogue, and fails to send all the information.

I need a quick resolution on this in the form of either;

  1. Clear instructions on how to resolve the issue.
  2. An update to Loop which fixes this background issue in Loop itself.

As a side note; Changing the clear and vibrant colors used for marking categories into bland and hard to distinguish pastel colors is a really, really poor decision which should be reverted. It makes the visual readout much harder and even causes issues for some people with color blindness to distinguish them apart.

    Dear Roger Hansen,

    Welcome to Microsoft Q&A.

    First of all, I’m truly sorry you’ve had to deal with this experience. I completely understand how frustrating it is when a feature you’ve relied on for months suddenly stops working as expected, especially for something as important as sharing professional meeting minutes.

    Based on the information I’ve found and the tests I’ve run myself, this issue is not caused by your setup. It appears to be related to how Loop currently processes Print & PDF Export, and recent updates have introduced a limitation where only part of the page is sent to the print dialog instead of the full content. This behavior has been reported by other users and reproduced by moderators, so it’s very likely a service-side issue.

    I also tried multiple workarounds and just like you, none of these provided a complete solution. The only reliable workaround at the moment is exporting the content to Word for Web and then saving as PDF, which I agree is far from ideal and causes formatting challenges.

    About the color changes

    Your feedback on the new pastel colors is extremely valuable. I completely agree that reducing contrast makes it harder to distinguish categories, and it can create accessibility issues for users with color vision challenges. Thank you for highlighting this, Microsoft actively reviews feedback like yours when planning UI updates.

    While waiting for an official fix, I strongly suggest:

    Submitting feedback directly in Loop (Help > Feedback > Give feedback) with details about when the issue started and what components are missing in the PDF.

    If possible, ask your IT admin to open a service request in Microsoft 365 admin center so the engineering team can investigate.

    Thank you again for sharing your experience and your thoughtful feedback. It’s incredibly helpful for improving Loop.

    I am running into the same issues with the Print to PDF. And I currently am not able to export this to Word so reaching out to our IT. I keep running into more errors with Loop and will stop using it because of that.
